Polymer:
The polymer used in the Kool Tie products is a proprietary blend
developed exclusively for our use. It meets or exceeds OSHA standards. It
is non-toxic, non-hazardous, with good skin compatibility. It has a re-wet
cycle of 8-10 years and is resistant to sodium--such as perspiration. It is
also land fill approved.
Many "Brand X" ties contain an acrylate, such as
is used in disposable diapers, or an agricultural polymer which has been
treated with various chemicals to enhance plant growth, causing serious skin
rashes.
